Divya has been my regular weekly yoga teacher for over 4 years now. Divya’s yoga classes are a thoughtful blend of both modern and traditional yoga approaches. She creates both a nurturing and challenging environment that has lead to my personal development on both physical and mental levels. I would highly recommend her yoga classes to anyone.
Quite apart from the benefits Yoga offers to all ages and abilities with YYoga I particularly like the group atmosphere all the teachers create during their classes. Each has different style but all are motivational and encourage us to use the correct technique with each pose, as a result I endeavour to give it my all and to gain the maximum benefit with every class I attend.
This is a difficult question to answer because there are several really good reasons why I like YYoga such as the availability of 2 (or more classes) every day and the range of yoga styles or type on offer. However, I think what I like the most are the teachers at YYoga! They may be different in their approach to teaching but they are all experts at what they do and they all connect with their students during class. In short, a very committed cohort of yoginis! (With apologies to Graham!)
I think it is the quality and diversity of the teachers at YYOGA that I like the most. Everyone brings energy, experience and a genuine commitment to the principles of yoga and that is important to help me maintain my own commitment as anyone who has practiced for a while would understand. The classes are always challenging, rewarding and varied enough to help me focus and improve my practice while at the same time not too serious that I can’t fall out of a pose and not smile to myself.
I used to take pilates and yoga classes at the gym but not until I joined YYoga that I finally get the benefit of practicing yoga. Yyoga is not just a yoga studio.. its a community and its a great feeling to feel like you belong somewhere. My favourite class has to be YHot (hot yoga)!.. The sweatier the better! although I do enjoy all the other classes such as heated vinyasa and hatha. Nothing beats the calm and relaxed feeling u get after a yoga session.
