An awareness workshop on keeping the knees safe and sound in yoga.
The knees play a vital role in yoga yet are often prone to injury due to misalignment, instability or excessive stretch. Developing safe ways to take a knee into pose will significantly reduce the risk of injury and maximize stability as well as overall confidence. In this workshop we will examine ways to look after the health of the knees in different poses and explore the relationship of the knees to the hips and ankles. As well as working individually, prepare to work in pairs and/or groups as there will be much observing involved.
